Here, additional material can be found that is too elaborate to supply in a single file. Dot plots and histograms for the various data sets can be found on the pages linked below. For each data set, dot plots were created that show τ for a summary statistic as a function of resolution, secondary structure, amino acid type, and, if applicable, the property of the subset. The summary statistics are average, standard deviation, counts, skewness and kurtosis. Some dot plots are shown in multiple formats. For clarity, we calculated average and standard deviation dot plots with both a "fixed" X-axis (to ease comparison between figures) and a "free" X-axis, having a range determined by the data range.
